Ethan Dziewirz (he/they) recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from McGill University and completed their final practicum at our clinic.
Ethan joined us to gain experience in gender-affirming voice care and to explore a range of practice areas within Speech-Language Pathology. During their time here, Ethan worked across diverse settings — including a short placement in Kingfisher Lake First Nation, where they and Stephanie collaborated to assess many children’s speech sound development and screen their language skills. They also worked individually with clients targeting social communication, articulation and phonology, voice, and language.
Ethan took initiative in running three online groups: Good Morning Voice! — our warm-up group for trans and non-binary folx and anyone interested in developing a flexible voice; Good Evening Chat! — our social communication group for adults; and Kids’ Communication Crew — our social communication group for children.
Outside of work, Ethan enjoys time with their two cats, Bartholomew (Bart) and Muffin. They are now based in Quebec, dividing their time between school-based practice and a growing private practice offering Gender-Affirming Voice Care.
