Join us for our FREE online student-run groups!

We do not currently have any groups running, but look forward to running groups when we next have a practicum student (likely in May, 2026).

Voice Groups

Why warm up your voice:

Voice warm-ups make your voice more flexible and easier to use. They support any changes you want to make to your voice, help you keep the progress you’ve made, and help kick-start your day!

Who these group are for:

This group is for trans and gender-diverse individuals and anyone else who wants to care for their voice. Whether you’re just starting to explore your voice or already have a voice you love, we can help you keep your voice healthy and flexible.

What they're about:

These short sessions help you to care for your voice, not change it. We do voice warm-ups together to help build a resilient, flexible voice. (Note: If you do want to change your voice, we offer individual sessions; participating in this group will kick-start any other voice care you need.)

How they work:

Sessions are held online using Zoom, so you can join from wherever you’re most comfortable. Our newest practicum student from McGill University, Tatiana Evangelista, will lead the groups with support from Speech-Language Pathologist Stephanie Harvey

What to expect:

  • A calm start to your day or a gentle pause in your day (or both)
  • Guided warm-ups - including mindfulness, breathwork, and stretching and strengthening your voice
  • No pressure to speak or share
  • A sense of connection—to your voice, your body, and a community that gets it

Your voice matters. Let’s take care of it together!
