Caring for Our Planet
We make every decision with the planet in mind.
Environmental responsibility is central to the way I live and work. I prioritize telehealth whenever possible, which allows me to serve clients in both urban and remote communities while reducing the environmental impact of frequent travel. Within Winnipeg, I limit car use by choosing active transportation or public transit, and I rely on Peg City Car Co-op when I need a car. (I don't really play pickleball, but had a blast pretending to play during a photoshoot for Peg City!)
At home and at work, I am committed to reducing waste through composting, reusing, repairing, refilling, recycling, sharing, and choosing second-hand or locally made items. I am also mindful of the environmental impact of technology, including limiting unnecessary use of AI and digital resources. Even something as simple as managing my email storage is part of my effort to reduce digital waste.
I believe that environmental care is not a single act but a series of intentional choices. By integrating sustainability into both my personal life and professional practice, I aim to contribute to a healthier planet for future generations.
